Pyrene was originally charged with Carbon tetrachloride liquid. Another BIG no no in modern times. Causes cancer etc. etc.! I notice that on the show fields in the USA the evidence of extinguishers on the grass at the front wheel of all cars. Obviously a requirement rule. This hasn’t arrived yet here in OZ. I’m sure in time it will as it is a logical safety measure. BUT what is the % of cars in all old car events in the US that have burned to the ground on the show field? By the way your Mr. President is in our town right at this moment. SECURITY!!! WOW!!! 40 degrees C today and half of Brisbane a NO GO zone driving an old car does NOT appeal! cheers
