The “shaft of the arrow”” slides into the rear section of the archer ornament. Remove the two screws that hold the tail of the arrow to the cowling. Raise the hood to remove the tail of the arrow. Cover the cowling so as not to scratch it. Slide the hood back on the cowling to disengage it from the archer. Remove the two screws at the base of the archer ornament and it will slide out.”
