coil question answered??

    I was going to ask a question about wring up a coil on a 1934 836. I found a discussion that stated POSITIVE terminal to points and NEGATIVE to ignition switch. is that right for my car?

    Blaine,

    Positive ground, positive goes to the points. Negative ground then Negative goes to the points. The points are just the ground. Jim L

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the confirmation, was planing on my first road test with the car tomorrow, and would not like to burn out the points right away.
