Our 68th Annual Pierce-Arrow Meet begins with a festive Welcome Buffet at the Carson Valley Inn. This opening evening sets the tone for the entire week—an unforgettable opportunity to reconnect with old friends and welcome new ones into our passionate community. The atmosphere will be alive with conversation, shared anticipation, and the camaraderie that defines every Pierce-Arrow gathering. Earlier in the day, participants may enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Tahoe on their own, taking in the beautiful mountain vistas and sparkling shoreline before returning for the evening festivities. The Board of Directors will also convene during the day.
Get ready for a delightful full-day driving tour through the high desert landscapes surrounding Reno, Nevada. Our route from the Carson Valley Inn takes us through the nature preserves near Carson City, offering glimpses of Nevada’s capital and its evolving skyline.
The highlight of the day includes exclusive visits to private automotive collections in South Reno and Sparks—remarkable treasures rarely accessible to the public. These intimate stops promise a unique look at automotive artistry and preservation. Lunch and dinner on your own, with many excellent dining options along the route.
Journey back in time to the 1850s silver-mining boomtown of Virginia City—the legendary heart of the Comstock Lode. Traveling via the smooth “trucker’s route,” we’ll be welcomed by the Virginia City Living Legends, who will bring this storied town’s history vividly to life. Explore historic landmarks, stroll the boardwalks, and discover how this once-bustling mining center helped establish the U.S. Mint in nearby Carson City.
Convenient Pierce-Arrow parking will be reserved along the main thoroughfare for easy access to shops and restaurants. After lunch on your own, our historical adventure continues with a private tour of the Nevada State Railroad Museum, featuring rare locomotives, rolling stock, and artifacts. The day concludes with a Group Dinner Buffet back at the Carson Valley Inn, followed by the ever-popular Swap Meet and Silent Auction—your best chance to find rare parts and Pierce-Arrow memorabilia!
A relaxed, low-mileage day lets us explore close to home. We’ll begin with a short, scenic drive to a private collection in Minden, Nevada, before continuing to the historic town of Genoa, home to Nevada’s oldest bar. Enjoy a leisurely luncheon across the street at the Genoa State Park, then visit one final private collection nearby. This easygoing day combines fine automobiles, old-town charm, and Nevada’s oldest settlement—all in a beautiful mountain setting.
Our grand finale begins with the Car Show and Judging at the historic Dangberg Ranch established in 1857. The setting—Pierce-Arrows gleaming on the lawn with the majestic Tahoe mountains beyond—creates an unforgettable tableau and the perfect backdrop for competition and admiration. In the evening, the celebration reaches its pinnacle at the National Automobile Museum in Reno, founded by the legendary Bill Harrah. The 125th Anniversary Banquet will feature fine dining, entertainment, and an atmosphere of elegance befitting the legacy of Pierce-Arrow. This once-in-a-lifetime occasion honors 125 years of craftsmanship, innovation, and fellowship—an evening sure to be remembered.
