I took my 1934 840A Club Brougham for a 40 mile drive today. It still needs a lot of detail etc. but we did 40 miles of nice smooth ride for the first time since 1949. The car is original, with a recent mechanical rebuild thanks to Paul Murray from Murray Motor Car in Monroe, WA. Also, I would never be driving it without the help of Dave Murray, Gig Harbor, WA. Thank you both, and everyone else for all the help. She purrs along very nicely at 55 MPH. Another Pierce back on the road thanks to the help of the PAS members. Rich Anderson, Coupeville, WA
Here’s another photo.
Thanks for sharing the pictures of that sexy looking P.A..You
don’t waste any time. The recognition of Dave Murray is over due.
He is selfless in his promotion of roadable P.A. iron. He’s given me the
courage to resurrect some 5,000 lb. ghosts with fender headlamps that
prefer to be at rest.Without him and the other parts suppliers,I would
have been forced to increase my supply of Model A’s and learn how to
understand their repair manual.
Any P.A. on the road is a memorable event.A Rip Van Winkle Pierce of
62 years sleep should have a coming out party!
Richard: I too am excited for you. I wish I could have been there.
Richard,
Your 34 Cub Broughm is just great, fabulous body style. We are glad to see it in your hands. I like the way you just take on a project and get it done. Not a small feat in just six months or so. Way to go!!!
Dave Murray
Richard, Congradulations! on another Pierce up and running and back on the road.
