    Hi all

    For the first time I am in the process of adjusting the tappets. HANDS UP THOSE WHO HAVE LOST A HALF INCH SPANNER DOWN THE SUMP!!! Cheers

    I made heavy cardboard ‘covers’ and taped them in place with duct tape. What a pain!

    Hi Bill

    I thought that members would be amused by a Newbie’s discoveries.!An ill wind though as the sludge in the pan REALLY did need a good cleaning. 40 years of accumulation. Quite a job under the baffles!The EPA will NOT be pleased with me!! The idea of covers of some sort really is the way to go. A well designed reusable set to keep on the shelf for future use will be a nice design challenge.—Many thanks
