The current issue of the CCCA Classic Car is largely devoted to the Pierce-Arrow. There are a number of fine articles and I wish to applaud contributions by our members; Brooks Brierley, David Stevens and Marc Hamburger. Bravo, Bravo!
Other pieces were written by, W. E. Gosden, Joe Malaney and I believe, the editor of The Classic Car, Ron Verschoor.
This is a very interesting issue for we Pierce-Arrow people and perhaps we also need to thank David Schultz, CCCA President and PAS Member. Perhaps, David gently nudged for the creation of the issue.
Yes, it’s a very nicely done issue, with stories that may be familiar to many of us, but very well presented….

Where can i get a copy of this?
My car is a 1932 Model 52 7 passenger sedan that i have had for 58 years…originally found in Upland,California.
i don’t think I will get a copy automatically through my Pierce membership; naturally this issue is of great interest to me…

A friend of mine (he had the Waterhouse Packard for a while) just sent me a copy!
I am very pleased to have it….for many years the 52’s have been almost ignored; I have had mine for 58 years and only found out what it was after some helpful advice from Jerry Schimke that sent me to the barn to look for the Model Tag !
247 M 18 and ‘Body by Pierce Arrow’
I found it resting in a hen house and even after running it for all these years it is still mostly untouched…A message from th Past from the Builders !?!
An old family friend by now!
I couldn’t always keep it indoors, but the interior (fittings and wood) is original, if anyone needs to refer to it…
