    Hi

Im on my way to Hershey. I was thinking I would snap some pics of the grounds and cars. I wondered if everyone would like me to post them as the days go buy?

I can’t attend this year due to being three months into a new job. This is only the second year I have missed in 36 years, it will feel very strange for me next week. I would love to see photos of the Pierce-Arrow tent, any Pierce-Arrows for sale and the Pierce-Arrow dinner on Thursday night.

Richard, I am sorry I will not have the opportunity to meet you. You have a beautiful car to start with and you picked a great marque for both technical and friendly support. Have a great trip!

    :) I will do what I can.

I had no idea there was a Pierce Arrow Dinner. Unfortunately, the pedal car open house is at the same time. Its going to be tough for me in the years to come. Antique pedal car events vs. Pierce arrow events. lolol whoda thunk!

I will take as many Pierce pics as I can along with general pics. John, you indicated a Pierce Arrow tent? Do you have space numbers or is it very obvious? I have been to hershey a few times but never paid attention to exaclty where I was. I was always searching for Antique pedal cars so my eye was elsewhere.

Im in ohio at the moment. Not too much further. Pierce Auto library will be my first stop. I should be able to load up on materials.

Just like a nervous parent, I have been calling the body shop to see how the dissembly is coming. Car is already almost down to the chasis. The engine guy has it turning over. Compression in all cyclinders but one. He says he has a few tricks to get it to go. Once it stays running, then he is going to take it all apart to rebuild. (seemed odd to me, but hes the expert) The engine guy is going to bebuild the entire drive trane, stem to stern.

The entire crew is more excited about this car than I am. (almost) Its great fun to see. They handle every nut and bolt with such care it gives me confidence that this restoration will turn fantastic.

Well, im off to eat some god awfull gag in the mouth free hotel breakfast. At least there is coffee. :) Later all.

    Richard,

Ed Minnie and John Cislak have their Pierce parts under the Pierce-Arrow tent, so find spot RCH42-43. Happy trails!

The Pierce-Arrow Tent is at RCH 38-41near the Stadium. We still need volunteers to cover some 2 hour time slots.

Unfortunately there will be no Thursday “PAS & Friends Dinner”” this year. Our previous restaurant burned down and we were unable to find a workable replacement in time.

Please pass along info on any viable restaurant options in the area for next year.
