There is a Pierce Arrow Firewall Pad for 1936-1938 on eBay. Is this anything like what was there originally? I am thinking that it will help reduce the amount of heat coming into the cabin and it would probably be concealed by carpet so it wouldn’t detract visually. Any opinions or thoughts? Thanks.

I replaced the one on my 1936 which i believed to be original. The original was not ABS plastic it was a cardboard like material with a fiber type of insulation/Fiberglass on one side(yellowish). The replacement was nearly an exact fit and had a modern heat/noise insulating pad on it. Huge difference in noise level. My opinion is it looks great and does a better job for keeping noise/heat out.

Roger,
Thank you for the information. Is Quiet Ride the manufacturer? The ones on eBay are being sold by California Pontiac Restoration but the price is the same.

Yes if I remember correctly
Any guesses whether this product would fit a 1932 Model 54 Club Sedan?
How difficult is installation?
Will it accommodate added wiring and plumbing under the dash?
To access under dash wiring and plumbing, how difficult is removal?
Thanks.
Their price list shows one specifically made for 1932 Pierce-Arrow.
