It was great to see many of the PAS members with their cars at the show.
My car was in the center of a row of beautifully restored Pierce Arrows. The day started off wet but ended up really nice and sunny.
We had quite a week getting the car ready for the show. Our timing chain was stretched. We were able to get Egge Manufacturing to ship us one in a couple days. The fellas got the car running Saturday morning. I left early for Akron but the guys at the shop didn’t arrive til midnight. A couple other problems cropped up but did get fixed in time.
As we were entering Stan Hywtt, Conceptcarz.com was there taking photos. They took several of my car.

Later in the day Fox Sports Ohio interviewed me. They were interested in original preserved cars. There is supposed to be a webcast on http://www.cruisein.tv/index.php soon.
It was really a fun day. My mechanic and I also got to talk a bit to Wayne Carini. He loved the dust and dirt of the car. I think I am going to clean it up a bit. I think there is a difference between dirt and patina.
Hope to see many other members in next year’s PAS events.

A photo with Wayne.
I’m the one with the red shirt.
Great to hear that the Pierce Arrow marque is being well represented out there.
A well preserved Pierce is a wonderful thing, keep her well taken care of.
And Wayne is much shorter than I expected.
