Hi AGAIN!! Since I have been clogging up the messageboard today I will continue! Attached is a photo of the steering wheel in my 1929 Club Brougham. Obviously NOT the original. The “shiny”” manette is one I made from alloy to replace a irretrievable Bakerlite one.
The next photo is of the steering box. Obviously a Gemmer But from what? I have rebushed & adjusted everything & it functions as it should.”
Photo#2. Adding to this The mounting to the chassis web has 4 bolts BUT of different spacings to the original slotted holes. The “new”” holes have been “”blown”” into the chassis by blow torch. Blacksmith like BUT effective!!
Jak…..the car looks great. Drive it like you stole it!
MAGIC advice
