The wheels are back on, and the frame will be delivered to the mechanic tomorrow. Here are a few other things that have been painted.

    Coming along nicely.

Were the ends of the air cleaner chrome or were some painted?

I think all the ones I’ve seen were always chrome.

I know our resident experts here will know. :)

Mine was black. It was blasted and then painted. Now, with that said, I have no idea if it was painted sometime between 29 and now.

My 1929 air filter ends are painted black. No sign of having ever been chromed. Our 1929 standard Club Brougham I think was the bottom of the line with minimum chrome bits on the engine. A comment—-Wonderful how often the slotted retaining washer disappears into the 6th dimension & I have to make another one!!!

    Magic progress Rick!
