The rumble seat springs were missing from my 1937 1702 rumble seat coupe. Mark Harryman had the springs for the car he is restoring which is a 1601 rumble seat coupe. I borrowed his springs and sent them to Snyder’s to have new springs copied from his set. Chris, the fellow that actually makes the new springs, called me and said the the bottom spring is in such bad shape that he can’t determine the thickness but is guessing that that the bottom spring is about 3 inches high. If anyone is familiar with the bottom cushion or has one they can measure, can you verify what the thickness of the bottom cushion springs should be?. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Call Enfield Auto Restoration in Enfield Ct. and ask for Dwayne. He has a 36 Conv Coupe he is working on for me. Tell him I told you to call. Ed Minnie
Thanks Ed!
Ed is a Pierce-Arrow sponge! If it is of or about P-A he absorbs it to
the benefit of the future of all the orphans we love and care for. I
wonder if he is a reincarnation of the spirit that drove P.-A. into
existence…maybe he had a past life as an ice box or a Great Arrow?
There are many in the Club that carry this torch…but he’s just a kid!
