Pair of 1928’8 on ebay. One running and one in process. I have no interest in the cars, just passing on info. They are in New York
What the heck is up with those pictures?
Sideways and stilted, even if the running car looks nice.
Either they are on a severe incline, they are traveling around the bank at Brooklands or they are a few lessons shy of being a professional photographer. You can turn them if you
1. Click on the picture to enlarge
2. Right clip and choose “save as”, then name it

Here are a couple of turned ones

Or it might have been the turn at Monza
Thank you, William. I was getting a severe crick in my neck.
There are either 2 or 3 other cars in the photos on ebay. Can anyone identify them? There is a tan car to the right of the restored car in the
garage and there is either a car in the garage, to the left of the project car and another one in the background of the picture of the tireless spare on the restored car, between it and the Pickup.
The other car in picture # 4 I think says REO on the side. Mr. Olds started making cars in ’04 I think and that looks like a really early car.
Car #2&3 may be the same one, but I think 3 is maroon
The green REO car has NO SKID tires. There is an article on them below.
NON SKID, Sorry for the missing N. I may be a year of two off for Ransom E. Old’s first car. I think ’04 is the organization date.
I have a 1904 Olds French Front and a 1905 REO Model A 2 cylinder.
The REO is car #74 and the first Model A’s were used to test the
reliability of the car and were produced in 1904. Model B 1 cylinders
were introduced in 1905. A 1905 Model A was the first car to go coast
to coast and then head back to where it started out! Quite a feat for
1906. Both cars that own me are similar to the green car in one of
the pictures.
Not a bad starting price for both cars.
I found a Hemmings ad:
Description:
2 – 1928 Pierce Arrow sedans; 1 black, running and driving, amateur restoration of a nice solid car. The second a dual side mounted sedan with trunk rack. I bought the second car for a donor headlight ring but it came with 3 so I didn’t need it. The car is a great restoration project lots of work has been done and seems very complete .
Price: $36,500 obo 631-891-5657
