This summer, on July 17th, 18th and 19th, which is the weekend prior to the PAS National Meet in Buffalo, I will again have a Mini-Meet at my home in Michigan, located just south of Flint, in Holly Michigan. This is just south of the intersection of I-75, US23, and I-69.
The schedule of events will be similar to the previous Mini-Meet we hosted in 2012 prior to the PAS National Meet in Western Michigan.
First, on Friday the 17th, a welcome party, cocktail party with excellent food provided. Starting at around 5pm. We will have lots of time to enjoy the cars that will be parked on the back lawn, and the cars in the shop and showroom as well.
On Saturday morning we will assemble at the farm and go on a back-roads tour to a few places of interest and possibly to lunch, We will most likely stop at our local farm dairy and get some world class ice cream, then continue on to our dinner destination, a local restaurant. that can accommodate our party and our old cars, then a relaxing 5-6 mile drive back to the farm for dessert and drinks.
On Sunday we will again congregate at the farm to leave on a short tour to go antiquing in our 1860’s town of Holly. Then back to the farm for a Barbecue during the afternoon.
The hotel of choice is the Comfort Inn and Suites in Fenton, about 5 miles away, down country roads, the cost is around $80/night, and the PAS members who stayed at the hotel for the Regional Spring Fling last month had great comments and reviews about the hotel. I have a block of rooms held until 10 days before the event.
There will be a reservation form sent out to anyone who emails me requesting a form. There will be a very reasonable charge to cover the food and drinks we will provide. The cost has not yet been determined exactly, but should be in the $30-$40 range per person for the entire weekend. Our food is legendary [ just check with anyone who was at the Spring Fling or the 2012 Mini-Meet.] the setting rural and relaxed, And of course our PAS friends and cars to look at and discuss.
I have plenty of space for parking of 10 or more tow vehicles and car trailers, and can accommodate a motorhome or two as well for the weekend.
We will be driving to Buffalo on Monday the 20th. The drive is around 6 hours on the freeways, I will be going south, through Ohio to Western New York rather than through Ontario Canada, since I will be bringing my dog LOKI to the meet with us.
Driving through Canada saves about an hour of driving for those who wish to use this route. This is providing there is no backup or delay at the Blue-Water Bridge border crossing into Sarnia Ontario, or at the Peace Bridge from Ontario into Buffalo, just a mile from the PAS meet hotel, the Adams Mark. Sometimes the backup at the crossings are up to an hour long.
Please email me for a reservation form, or to discuss particulars, or with regrets if we have talked already, and you can’t make it.
At the 2012 weekend we had over 100 PAS and local collector car friends at the BBQ, we hope to host at least as many friends this July as well.

A quick update on the mini-meet.
We have set a price of $30 per person for the weekend’s meals, snacks, drinks and cocktail parties.
We are exploring a few new tour routes to visit a car collection, and to a different town for Antique shopping.
We have a party tent reserved for the weekend, just incase of too much sun, or ‘liquid-sunchine’.
So far we have 11 people requesting a reservation form. With quite a few verbal ‘we will be there’s.
Looking forward to the weekend-long gathering of our Pierce Arrow friends !!
Greg
