My ’29 with a straight eight has a throttle return spring that I made and installed on the linkage on the left side of the engine. I’m sure it is not correct and like the original.
Can someone post a picture of what a throttle return spring should look like and how the installation should be? A description of the correct installation would also be helpful.
Thanks,
Calvin Dyke
Hello Calvin,
Here is a page from the 1929 illustrated parts manual, it shows the throttle return spring reasonably well.
Hope this helps.
