    Is this the lever above the gas cap that switches to the 3 gallon fuel reserve?

    Hi Dave, a Hershey lock is a lever found on the steering column that turns on the ignition and locks or unlocks the switch to turn on the voltage to the primary side of the ignition system. It can be found on 1929 to 1935 Pierce cars, among others. Ed.
