This car is listed for sale by a dealer in Marietta, Georgia, on the Hemmings website. It looks OK until you see the Olds V-8 and associated modern mechanicals; worse yet are the Olds velour seats front and rear, and the Olds steering column.
It makes me think of raising the asking price of $79,500 and rescuing it from such a fate.
That is one ugly cut down sedan. Interesting they post a correct photo in their as showing the correct body and door configuration of a real car. As most members know, there is only one real twelve Sport Pheaton of any year in exsistance, a 1932. I just happen to know where it is……… But I am not telling! Ed. 😁
My first thought was, well, at least they kept the Pierce headlights.
My second thought was, crap, wish they’d taken the headlights off, so no one would think that was a Pierce.
Sad.
Buy it! Think of all the conversations you could start with it.
Tony…….you bank roll the car, I will get it running right……..but your gonna have to drive it on the tours, I don’t want to be seen in such a …………….”car”” ……”
