STILL NEED AN ORIGINAL TEMPERATURE GAUGE FOR MY 1935 PIERCE-ARROW. 1934 AND POSSIBLY 1933 JUST MIGHT DO. I MAINLY NEED THE FACE PORTION AND GLASS TUBE, I HAVE THE GOOD FLEXIBLE TUBING, FITTING AND BULB, THAT ATTACHES THE UNIT TO THE ENGINE BLOCK.

HAS ANYONE REPRODUCED THE FACE PLATE FOR THESE? THANKS, BOB

Here’s a repro on Ebay…I thought for sure I had a unit left over from my 34/35 restorations, but I can’t find it..

David, years ago I took on a similar project. Had plates stamped out and then printed the face onto them. But, these were for the fuel gauges–just like the copy you sent.

I’m in need of the water temperature gauge face plate, not the one for “fuel.””

    Thanks”

I have a ’35 back piece with the glass tube and capillary tube still attached. The sending unit and spring covered tube were cut off. I have a face plate that is in fairly good condition , it is still quite readable but the white is tinged brown and a little has flaked off. I don’t seem to have a bezel or glass.

Send me an email and I should be able to send a picture.

The fuel gauge face is a repro, if it’s the same stamping as the temperature gauge, the fellow could silk screen the temperature info on one….
