    Hello everyone.

I have received numerous questions about reservations at the Potawatomi Inn located in Indiana’s Pokagon State Park, in extreme northeast Indiana.

The Inn and park are a very popular summer/weekend retreat destination, and reservations fill up very quickly. The Inn has many different types of rooms, not the usual two choices of two queen beds or a king-size bed. The rooms can have a single queen bed, or two, or with a bunk bed. Some rooms can accommodate 6 or more guests.

The best method is to just reserve a room for the number of guests you will have in your party. Trying to sort through the different types of rooms is very time consuming

The Inn is normally a no-pet facility, but we negotiated to have all of the 8 rooms in the detached cabins to be pet friendly, for a single $25 additional cleaning fee for the week.

These pet friendly rooms are obviously limited, so please do not reserve a cabin room unless you have a pet as part of your party.

The Inn’s reservation people seem to be ‘in the dark’ regarding the pet-friendly status of the cabin rooms, but rest assured it is in our hotel contract. if you are bringing a pet, book a cabin room.

The 2019 Annual meet will be held on the second week of June. The Board Meetings will be on Tuesday the 11th, and the Car Show and Judging will be held on the morning of Saturday the 15th, followed by the Awards Banquet Saturday evening.

The price for the rooms under our contract are also available for a day or two before the week’s events and for a day or two afterwards. There are a lot of interesting places to visit that we will not have time for during our annual meet.

The phone number for the Inn is: 260-833-1077, their website is http://www.indianainns.com .

Our code for our block of reserved rooms is 0611PA Rooms are $107/night.

The Pokagon State park has an entrance gate that allows only guests at the Inn and people camping at the other end of the state park’s land to enter. There are miles of nice, low traffic paved roads throughout the park. We will have many opportunities for those who have never driven a Pierce Arrow to drive the nearly vacant roads of the park. The younger PAS family members will be welcome and encouraged to drive a Pierce !!

Because this Inn is so popular, I urge anyone considering attending the 2019 Annual Meet to book your stay early, before the only rooms available are those in our reservation block. If everyone books early, we might have the entire Inn occupied by our Pierce Arrow Society members.

I hope this answers most questions. If not, please email me at: [email protected]

    Thanks Greg!

It is unfortunate that we currently are experiencing such difficulty getting event information posted on the website for all members to see.

Members who don’t visit the message board are still uninformed.

Meanwhile the PAS website STILL invites us to PLAN ATTENDING the 2018 Winter meet in Pine Mountain, GA at Calloway Gardens last March, the 2018 Annual Meet in Rohnert Park, CA in July and the Gathering at Gilmore last August.
