Can anyone tell me how the lens is removed from the rear corner lights inside my 1931 Model 43 sedan? I think they should push up to remove the lens from the housing, but they seem really stuck in place and I don’t want to damage them.
Thank you!
My apologies for the picture at 90 degrees.
Mark,
On my 1930 they pushed up like you thought. The lens and bezel come off as 1 piece. On mine the plate that has the slots to hold the unit on is soldered to the bezel with the lens captured between. You might have to hold down the upholstery if it has padding. Jim L
You get two thumbs up! Although one of them feels sprained right now as it is amazing what a teeny bit of rust will do to those housings.
Who ever did the interior rewired the lights backwards somehow and I had a dead short when I opened the back door. Now I can hopefully find that short.
