Have owned my 1930 Model “B” Pierce for 2 years now, most of that time its been standing whilst various work was carried out, & including a lovely retrim in its origional material, specially made in China, dont bother asking cant get any more, anyway the engine is extremelly difficult to start, have rebuilt the carb & once started runs beautifully, need to have basic start instructions & carb details is there a specific jet for starting or does it rely on the choke flap only, If I carry on as I am I will need a new starter motor & battery as well.hope someone can help.
An electric fuel pump to fill the float bowl may be an answer. Also be sure the choke butterfly is closing all the way
