    I hate it when this happens. I rearended another car at a “Right on Red” intersection and bent the right front fender pretty good, BROKE one of the bumper pieces and broke the headlight lens (It’s a repro but still glass.)

    The race is now on to get it all fixed and ready so that we can still drive it to the meet. I was going all of three miles an hour at the time. No one was hurt, just my pride.

    Sorry to hear about the bent metal, but it can be repaired ! With 5000+ pounds moving, even at only 3mph, there is a lot of momentum to bring to a halt. Glad it is fairly minor, not into the headlamp flare, or the rest of the front bumper.

    Yup, it’s over there. I’ve managed to borrow a bumper set to use on the drive to RI. I’ll have to return it when we get back.

    Progress. The fender is about 85% back in shape.
