I have found at a relative’s home a catalog and a portfolio of salon plates. The catalog is entitles “An Advance Portfolio of the 1933 Pierce-Arrow” It is in subtle green and sepias, with several cars inside and the usual mechanical and descriptive pages. The folder is in a diagonally cut envelope (wood grain) and has sixteen engraved plates inside all models 1242 and 1247 custom bodies cars, LeBaron, Brunn, etc. If there is any interest I will be at the meet only Monday and Tuesday, and would bring them with me. I have seen some horrible prices on these things, but I would sell both together for around $400, people have told me this is a reasonable price. These plates also are sepia, and not color.
