    I put a footy sock into the upper radiator neck a few months ago, finally took it out- filled with about 1/4 cup of junk. I’m glad that crud is not clogging up my radiator.

    Don,

    Did you use any sort of radiator flush or evapo rust?  Looks like the stocking worked well.

    Hi Dave,

    Yes, I used Evopo-rust, 100% no dilution. That does a good job and is friendly to the environment unlike some products I use….

    A ladies’ nylon stocking serves well in this capacity. You did fine though!
