Many thanks to Jim and Barbara Payne for hosting an excellent meet!  We were so anxious to see interesting things in TN with our friends.  The car collection was great and the Appalachian Museum was most special. But what impressed me most was the great food and service provided by our host hotel.  When was the last time you saw the chef come to every table and ask: “Is there anything more I can do for you?”

This winter meet was an excellent warm-up act for Karl’s annual meet at Lancaster, PA in June.  My suggestion is that you first, help Karl by sending in your registration as soon as possible and second, get the Covid-19 vaccination if you so desire.  Jane and I, as well as Jean and Larry Smothers, received our second Moderna shot in mid-February.  Believe me it is comforting to be in public knowing we are 95% protected.

I agree with you 100% Merlin, it was a nice place and it was great to see our PAS friends in TN-we had a productive board meeting as well.

Thanks to Jim, Barbara and Ben Oakes for making this successful meet happen.

Thanks, all! Kathy and I had a great time and it was a perfect weekend. We took the long way home and finally made it Wednesday evening.
