    I started working on the window regulators. Mine had been stored off the car for many years and had a lot of surface rust.

    The top 2 have been given an Evaporust bath and the bottom one is as found. Note the spring is broken as were all 4 of mine.

    I was able to source ’37-49 Chevy/GMC truck winders for $30 something a pair. They are not quite as wide but are a pretty good fit.

    All I need now is a little paint. The winding mechanisms cleaned up with the Evaporust and with a little oil work fine.

    Looking good. Are the winders you refer to just the springs, alone?
