I was able to score some reproduced levers for my 836.
The originals were pot metal and break often when the car sits and they get stuck together and people forcefully try to move them and they break.
I was trying to figure out how to get the old broken levers off, then I remembered they were potmetal so I just heated them with a MAPP gas torch and the fell off.
Now I have to figure how to attach the new ones. I think the new ones are stainless, much better material for this application
