Good morning everyone,
I have a few questions about the 1911 36-UU we are restoring, I hope I can find some answers here.
The fist is the position of the tail light. On this Pierce, the tail light is mounted on a bracket to the rear of the chassis, but I have my doubts about the position. This bracket looks far from original so I’m wondering what the original bracket/mounting place looks like.
On most 36-UU Pierce- Arrow’s the tail light is direct mounted to the rear of the body, but our Pierce does not have any holes on the rear or any visible repeared holes.
Does anyone knows if some models are delivered with special brackets to mount the tail light to the chassis?
Many thanks in advance .

It appears that the chassis was roughly cut at this location, so there may have been other supports at this location.
