Available for sale is an excellent original ‘Tireur d’Arc’ bare headed archer mascot used on 1931-32 V-12 Pierce-Arrow motorcars. Bow is intact, but missing the arrow. Clearly struck markings include the name W N Schnell, designer of the archer, and ‘Tireur d’Arc’ (translated: Archery Shooter). Imprinted on the underside of the base is the name Ternstedt Mfg Co. Some pitting blemishes are present in the area around the threaded mounting stud.
