Pauline Schweinfurth Becker passed away peacefully in her Sarasota home September 10, 2023 at the age of 102. Pauline lived her life fully with zest, but remained modest and humble. She served on the Board of Trustees of both Mote Marine Laboratory and the Ringling College of Art and Design. She, along with her late husband Gene, belonged to the Pierce-Arrow Society and spent four decades driving with friends across the country, coast to coast, in their 1917 Pierce-Arrow 7-Passenger Touring. The Society’s Longest Distance Award & Trophy is named for Gene & Pauline. She loved her green Pierce-Arrow which now resides at the Museum of the Antique Automobile Club of America in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The Society extends its sincerest condolences on behalf of its members to the Becker Family.
