This is a nice GEM brand oil can with the Pierce-Arrow script that went in a bracket that was mounted to the firewall of the car, under the hood. The idea was to be able to regularly put a few drops of oil into the various lubrication points under the hood. Invariably, like the Pierce-Arrow hand tools, over the years, these got separated from the cars and ended up on a shelf somewhere. We found this one at the Iola swap meet years ago. It needs to be in a car again. It would be a nice accessory for your car!
