Hi Roger, I have been searching oil filter assembly for my 1935 Pierce eight as well, and spotted replacement assemblies from

R & A ENGINEERING, INC.

They are quite expensive, I think, but after installation, you should be able to use modern filters!

Maybe it will fit on your 1936 too?

It says it is for 12 cyl model, but looks lot like mine in 8 cyl too!
