I stumbled across an old news story from 2012: a family’s Car was stolen out of their parents’ garage before they could settle the estate. The Car was a Series 80 roadster; red with black fenders and wire wheels and appeared to be in nice condition.

I wonder if it was ever recovered? It would be hard to hide I would think. Does anyone remember this?

One of these fitting your description was on Ebay about a year or two ago. I believe it was in Kentucky or Tennesee, but not sure about that.

I live in Utah and have not heard anything about those folks locating the missing car. I also would like to hear if that theft was ever resolved. Does anyone know, where in Utah the theft took place, and I can scout the local Police and see if they can share any information.

Were the owners members of the PAS ? And was this Series 80 roadster listed with the PAS?

Having the chassis number and engine number would certainly assist in finding the car, or parts if the car

    was [foolishly] parted out.

This is one seldom mentioned [and seldom needed, thankfully] benefit of Pierce-Arrow Society membership: the membership would be on the look-out and would be more likely to recognize a missing/stolen car than the average Classic car collector.
