1931 Oil Filter Mounting

When I was getting my car back on the road I was completely missing the brackets that hold the oil filter on the engine and used a pair that had originally held a Stewart Vacuum fuel tank on the firewall of an unknown car. I picked up these brackets at the Luray Pre-war flea market thinking they would make changing the oil easier than the full strap ones. They match both the hole spacing and the tank diameter so well that now I would like to know if they are the actual ones I had needed??
