I am checking the oil circulation before final assembly on a complete rebuilt engine. I am not able to get oil to the cam and lifters. I can build the oil pressure to 30 pounds by turning the oil pump with a drill. Then the oil gushes out of the ? overflow in the lower block. It doesn’t look like I am going to make the National meet this year with this car. Need advice!
Well, I guess I will answer the problem myself. A well-known machine shop reground the camshaft and forgot to put the plug in the end of the camshaft.
What did you do to refresh your valve lifters during this rebuild?
