Hello Everyone,  I am restoring a Model 1245 Sedan and need the following information.

    1. Running Board Chrome Trim.  What does the trim look like on the running boards.  Does anyone have pictures so as I know what I am looking for?  And where can I purchase trim.  L & L Auto Trim does not answer.

    2. Chrome Trim Piece on bottom of front fenders.  Any pictures and sources for them.

I am out in California, but willing to travel to find correct pieces.  Any help and information, specially pictures would be greatly appreciated.

    Frank,

You might try John Cislak for parts. His info is in the Member Roster, or you can go to the Emporium and scroll down to one of his ads.

This is the only picture I have of a ’35 running board, hope it helps.

I had L&l do mine a couple years ago. The owner took over his Dad’s business and it is a side gig with his tools and shop an hour away in another town. I think I managed to contact him through his Facebook page or the email listed. His price was very reasonable, the biggest expense was shipping which was hands down least expensive via USPS. It was many months without any communication after ordering and paying, when out of the blue they showed up one day in a 9 ft long PVC pipe.

    Good luck!

The long stainless trim that runs down the front fender past the running boards to the rear fender I’m pretty sure you can order from Max Merritt auto parts. Check with them.
