Does anyone know who bought this car and ,if so, are they a member of the Pierce Arrow Society? The other Pierce was sold to a dealer.

Rumor is it went to someone who is a flipper……….I have no clue if this is or is not accurate. It was running on 8 cylinders on the field. So it needed a bunch of love and time.

When I spoke to a representative of the auction company last year , he too confirmed the car was running on 8 cylinders. I have a lot of love for Pierce Arrows but given my advanced age am less likely to have the time left (and money) to restore this car to its former glory . Past experience has repeatedly told me to buy a car whose cost of restoration had been borne by others. Of course I never followed this foresighted reasoning.
