’29 Transmission Front “Freeze Plug” Diameter

    Does anyone have any idea what size the front “freeze plug” that covers the main shaft opening is on the transmission for the ’29 cars? It makes sense to replace it while the transmission is out, just want to make sure I can get one before destroying the old one in the process of pulling it. Do you recommend replacing it with a brass one or is the old white metal OK?
