I’m restoring my 1934 836A.  The previous owner had welded a custom made pulley to the fan hub. I have acquired a new/used fan hub and mounting hardware. I need a new pulley. Does my 1934 836A have a single pulley or a dual pulley like my brothers 1935 8 cylinder?  I wasn’t able to find clarification in the technical manuals.  An exploded diagram would be helpful, but I haven’t found that yet either.

Additionally, my generator needs to be rebuilt. Can anyone recommend a shop to do that?

If you have an extra pulley to sell, or if you have knowledge of whether used a single or dual pulley configuration, please let me know.
    thanks!

I can tell you that my  1933 model 836 with an 8 cylinder engine has a double pulley.

    Hi Matthew,

My ’34/’35 parts book says that all 1934 Pierces including 836A’s used the same double pulley part #’s.

    Cheers.

ConRel in the Albany/Schenectady area repaired my generator (1936).  They even had new regulator/cutouts in stock (same as on some tractors).  This is a big shop, and the people are nice: 518 356 1646
