Does anyone know if the 1934 convertible coupes were equipped with a footrest in the rumbleseat area, or sun visors on the windshield?

    Thanks.

Bob: My 36 convertible coupe (now in the Staley collection) had neither footrests in the rumbleseat, nor sunvisors. My 36 convertible sedan has sunvisors.

    Bob,

My 1934 parts manual says no visors for the convertible coupe. However, I’ve seen a lot of them mounted from sedans and I can tell you that I’ll eventually put them on my car as we drive it a lot and really need the visors when the sun is in our face. Well, okay, that happens twice a year in Chicago. But we’ll still install them.

I meant to add that our car doesn’t have footrests and shows no signs of ever having them. The floor mat is original and has no cutouts or holes for brackets.
