I have come across a pair of 2 1/2″ lenses. The clear one has 11 flutes and has a slight curvature to it and the red one has 4 or 5 rings, depending on how you count them, and has a curvature to it.

There is no marking on the red one and the clear one has 11 flutes, the word BRILLIANT and a number I can’t read.

Both have a flat area around the outer rim.

    Do they fit anything Pierce?

Hi Bill, if the clear lens is ribbed on the inside and smooth on the outside, then these lenses are for Series 36, series 80/81, ’29/30. The curvature should be about 11/16″ The clear lens should have a notch in the rim at the end of the center flute to match a tab in the light retaining ring, this keeps the lens from rotating. The flutes widen and flatten the light beam.

If the clear lens has external flutes it might be for the ’31-33 cars, but I need to measure one to be sure, I think the external fluted lenses are closer to 2-3/4″ diameter.

I measured the lens diameter for the later triple tailights. The reverse clear lens and the stop light have external ribs. The diameter of the lenses is 3″.

So I’m not sure what that 2-1/2″” clear lens is with the external ribs.

The red lens with steps inside and smooth outside will work on most 20’s Pierce cars.
