Not mine, just saw it on another forum, I’ve grown to hate the term “bxxx find”, but it looks like an interesting car for short money…..

This car has been for sale for a few years.. It got purchased last year by a guy who wants to bring the car back to ‘driver’ status.. I’ve not spoken with the owner in several months, so I do not know why he has put it up for sale.
This car has had the two rear doors fastened shut, a rear door on the back the body created. This makes the car into a delivery van ‘of sorts’.
Door latch assemblies with door handles, and door hinges are needed to return the rear pair of doors to be functional. These items are available.
The engine from what the owner has told me does not run.. or not at the last communication. I told him about removing the oil pan, cleaning the sludge from the pan and oil pump screen. I also suggested a thorough inspection of the roller cam-followers, and checking the connecting rod bearings for condition.. Also about cleaning out the oil journals in the crankshaft. I have not heard from him with the results of his inspections.
This is the only Series 80 with side mount spares that I’ve seen. The Series 81 often had side mounts.
The Series 80 Salesman’s Data Books i have read list this in the available accessories list: Tire fender wells available to be installed by your dealer, includes luggage rack on rear of car: $150. !!
