Cowling Needed

The plywood veneer is coming apart on the interior sidewall behind the door.

And it once covered the back of the cab as you can see remnants of it here along with the heads of the screws that held it in place.

Here is the board over the door that has the mortise

the previous 2 photos were of this board once it was removed. Notice the screws that held the mortise and tenon joints together? They were hidden beneath the metal corner bracket.
