Hello! My father has a 1934 Model 836A Sedan, which he acquired partially restored. The dash and steering column still need to be completed. There are remnants of black paint on the dash, and the steering column looks as if it is plated. Does anyone have information about how we should finish the dash (paint color and where to find it would be most helpful) and/or if the column should be plated?
Thanks in advance for your time!
Many thanks to Paul Johnson and John Parks for their telephone time! Thanks, Mr. Parks for your encyclopedic knowledge on the 836A!
(If you’re browsing, the answers are: (1) dash is to be painted black, and (2) steering column is chrome-plated.)
