Spring Fling Tour – April 27-29, 2018

South Bend and NW Indiana

Given the vagaries of Spring weather, Pierce-Arrows are definitely optional. Watch forecasts before deciding or be prepared for the weather. The most important thing is to come have fun, eat well, see the sights and network with new and old PAS friends. Sat. tour is about 70 miles.

Friday April 27:Check into La Quinta Inn. An afternoon option for earlybirds. Dinner off the menu at a highly rated restaurant near the hotel.

Sat. April 28: Visit The Studebaker National Museum in South Bend for a special tour with the Curator & GLR-PAS member, Aaron Warkentin.

Lunch off menu at Moser’s Austrian Restaurant in New Carlisle.

Explore the LaPorte Historical Museum with many historical displays, the Peter Kesling vintage auto collection, & large firearms collection. A private car collection visit as well before returning to the hotel. We’ll end the day with Dinner off the menu at a restaurant near the hotel.

Sun. April 29: Enjoy the Sunday Brunch at the Tippecanoe Restaurant. Really great food located in the beautiful historic Studebaker Mansion. At noon we’ll visit the Oliver Mansion & Historical Museum adjacent to the Studebaker Museum.

Room rate $99 or $104 Block for “Pierce-Arrow” group ends April 5, then after that no guarantee of availablity. Reserve early to avoid problems. Call Dave Stevens if you have any problems with reservations.
