Hello Pierce owners. I am restoring a 1601 seven seat sedan. It is in rough condition and I’m having trouble figuring out how some of the body elements inside should look. For example the measurements of the holes and some structure components of the folding middle seats etc. So I would like to get in contact with some one who owns one and would be able to give me information that I need. I hope to hear from some one willing to help, thanks!

Welcome to the Pierce Arrow Society.! I do not have access to a 7-passenger sedan’s jump-seats. But I do have a 1601 club sedan here that I’m working on. I could take a few photos of the interior in the back to show the wood trim and upholstery..

I think Bill Koch might be a guy who could help with your questions… Maybe..

Again: Welcome to the PAS !!

That’s Bob Koch, Bremerton, WA who has a 1937 1703.

Diana & I have enjoyed our 1601 5P sedan for almost 23 years, but that won’t help with the jumpseats.

There is a 1937 1702 7 passenger in the Pierce-Arrow Museum. I can take pictures of that for you next week.

There are several 1601 7 passenger sedans listed in the roster that you can look up on here the website:

    J. Bexley – D. ostereich – J. Helebrook – J. Baird – J. Payne – R. Calvert – C. Rahn

Hello guys, Thank you for your answers. Gregory, I have references to interior and trim, I have the most trouble with floor layout and measurements. David & Diana photos might help but I really need measurements and some hinges and fixing joints of witch probably would be hard to take pictures in a museum exhibition. You see, my problems appear at metal sheets level not at further level of trim and upholstery.

Another headache is electric circuit. I know there is one for sale in this site, but I’m from Europe and electronic order is probably my only option witch is not accepted here, maybe some one could resell me one who accept paypal?

Oh and that roster search thing does not seem to work for me. When I copy and paste the name of a member it says there is no one with that name. I tried typing only surname and both name and surname, it just spits me that there is no one with that name.

Arvydas, instead of searching by member name trying searching by vehicle.

Enter in the vehicle type (passenger car) the year (1936) and the model (1601).

The search will return a listing of all 1601 vehicles but you can look through and find the owners of the 7 passenger cars you need.
