how do i find out what the correct colors and finishes on a 1933 model 1236 engine and frame ? we are trying to do a correct restoration.

Nice pictures of your 1236 engine. Do you know if the spark plug lead wire looms are the same between 1933 and 1935? I am missing the looms from my 1935 1255 project car.

I honestly don’t know on that one and will defer to a more experienced member. I would assume that lots of them are out at Hershey right now. so it might be a week or so before we get an answer.

Thank you for the photos, Mr. Muellner. It is difficult to tell whether that is a dark green or black.

It does look like black on my car, but it is the original paint and might have discolored over the years.
