Ladies and Gents,

Today is the anniversary date of the FINAL demise of the Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company.

That monumental event occurred on: Friday, 13 May 1938.

Reflect today on the significance of the end of America’s Finest Motorcar.

Sad day, and yet Pierce-Arrows are still gracing America’s motorways with dignity and grace, every additional mile proving the lasting value of their supreme quality.

Now I know where that subliminal connection to PA came from. Today’s my birthday and I was born on a Friday, but not in 1938.

Yesterday May 12th was the 104th anniversary of the fender headlamp patent by Major Dawley.It is the latest patent date on my C-3 which is on a little plate beneath the larger patent date on the left side glove box door.
