We had a terrific time in San Antonio. Many thanks to Wade and Jeannie Smith for hosting the Meet. It started off at the Smith’s home with a Pizza dinner and a tour of their car collection. They have a number of very impressive cars, many of them from the brass era. Included is a 1913 Pierce-Arrow 48 Runabout. Over the next several days, we toured by bus to a number of locations in the San Antonio area. The Meet finished up with a boat tour of the Riverwalk and a banquet at a Saltgrass steakhouse. The weather during the meet was sunny, if a little cold. The only downside was a number of participants were either delayed or could not get to San Antonio due to the large storm over much of the USA immediately before the meet. Those that made it had a great time.
